The company visionary, Todd spends most of his time in
the future. He plans the long-term direction of the company
and crafts the image and the message we present to the community.
Todd also locates and buys the land for our neighborhoods -
a process that can often take five years or more.

Wayne Leighton, Director of Operations Wayne is our up-front guy. He handles all aspects of the business up to and until we stick a shovel in the ground, including planning, approvals, permitting and marketing. Despite his degree in civil engineering and MBA in finance, Wayne is really a fun guy who is already grooming his children to follow in Dad’s footsteps. |

Doug Young, Director of Sales & Construction With twenty-five years’ experience in custom home building, Doug has mastered the fine art of communicating your desires to architects and vendors. Doug builds your house on paper before we build it on your home site, helping you define the custom touches that reflect your personality and style. Even in his free time, Doug is in demand, building sets for his daughters’ musical theater productions and loaning his carpentry skills to friends and family. |

Michael Cappelletti, Director of Construction Mike is responsible for maintaining the efficient operation of our construction teams. With 29 years of construction experience—including nine as a Pohlig field superintendent—Mike ensures that your home is delivered on time and as promised. A proud Penn State grad, Mike enjoys returning to State College to watch Nittany Lion football and maintain the efficient operation of two of his children, who attend his Alma Mater. |

Jean Bell, Sales Manager Prior to joining us, Jean worked as a registered nurse, raised 2 sons and traveled to many places around the world. Since joining us, she has garnered many honors. Her professional designations include GRI, CRS and CSP, she’s a licensed Broker/ Appraiser and does an excellent job of making our clients feel well-cared for. |

Steve Lindes, Estimator/Project Manager Steve figures out how much your home is going to cost. Working with trade contractors and suppliers he prices out each piece of material that goes into your home to come up with the final tally. When he’s not hammering out numbers, Steve hammers out iron in his blacksmith shop. |

Susan Hargadon, Controller Our numbers cruncher, Susan manages all of our accounting and financial matters. She also oversees all the details behind your home settlement. Prior to joining Pohlig Builders in January 2000, she was the Vice President of Finance at Corporate Interiors of Delaware. |

Tony Gervasi, Quality Control Manager Tony keeps Pohlig Builders on its toes with his passion for quality control and defect-free construction. He regularly inspects each of our homes to make sure it meets the high standards he has established. When the Pohlig team starts to regularly meet his standards, he raises the bar and sets new objectives. |

Cindy Kimble, Selections Manager Cindy is our professional shopper. She works with each of our clients as they make the selections for their home, such as lighting, flooring, cabinetry, etc. She is only a phone call away to answer any questions and to ease any concerns that may arise through the selection process. Unfortunately, she also tracks the money that is spent. |

David Malec, Senior Superintendent One of our Old Guard, David has been with the Company since 1979. He played an instrumental part in the development of many of our systems and procedures, and keeps the rest of us in line. As the organization’s Senior Superintendent, David manages construction projects, overseeing the building of your home from the initial start-up to completion. |

Donald Sargent Don brought a wealth of experience with him when he joined Pohlig Builders in 1986, including four years as a custom homebuilder and three years as the owner/operator of his own carpentry company. As a result, he brings an owner’s pride to each project he manages, working with you as if you were his own client. |

Frank Duffy Frank’s positive and easygoing nature makes working with him a pleasure. His superb communication skills and straightforward approach are ideal for making everyone comfortable. After owning his own building and remodeling company for 20 years, Frank brought his expertise to Pohlig. If Frank isn’t managing construction, you can find him skiing in New England or relaxing on the beach with his family. |
